We are seeking nominations from the Page community for potential candidates to run for the Federal seat of Page. Those nominated will be assessed to be included in a candidate selection process.

Potential candidate nominees must satisfy the following criteria

• Live in the electorate of Page
• Be eligible to be a candiate according to the Australian Electoral Commission Candidate eligibility
• Be able to fulfil the full-time role of a federal Member of Parliament, including regular travel to Canberra.
• Have no significant current or recent affiliation with a political party

The personal qualities of the potential candidate will include being

• An exceptional listener

• Committed to acting with integrity, honesty and transparency

• A clear and effective communicator

• Committed to evidence-based policy

• Committed to representing the people of the Page electorate and having a deep understanding of the issues concerning them

• Able to lead, and collaborate with diverse groups

The nominated candidates will receive an invitation to apply to be a candidate for Page. These potential candidates will be asked to provide a written application addressing the above selection criteria and a CV. The successful candidate will receive campaign support from Voices of Page volunteers.
